Mission Mangal Box Office Collection Day 1: Vidya Balan-Akshay Kumar movie opens to a fabulous start

Mission Mangal Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal, which hit the screens on August 15, had a fabulous opening at the box office on Thursday, with the movie collecting over Rs 26 crore on the first day of its release alone, suggest early estimates. Released across 3,000 screens in India, Mission Mangal is Akshay's fourth consecutive Independence Day release. His previous year release on August 15, Gold, had collected Rs 25.25 crore, while the 2017 release Toilet Ek Prem Katha earned Rs 13.1 crore on its opening day. The official numbers for Mission Mangal are yet to come out, but experts believe its box office collection is likely to be stellar, thanks to its star cast and the content.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said Mission Mangal is "one of the best films of 2019".
"Each character shines... The high-concept film that keeps you hooked in the course of... Has potential to emerge Akshay Kumar's highest grosser," he said.
The film celebrates the vision, brilliance, courage, and intelligence of ISRO scientists, said Sumit Kadel, Film critic, and trade analyst. "It's a women's show all the way with the outstanding support of superstar Akshay Kumar," he added.

It’s a godawful small affair. Rakesh Dhawan is a mission director at the Indian Space Research Organisation, and after his last mission was a non-starter, he’s been given a punishment posting and assigned to
a mission no one extremely wants an expedition to Mars.
This ambition appears entirely out of reach given ISRO’s budgets, and thus the film Mission Mangal — in an overture to exaggerate this spectacular Indian action — depicts the Mars

exploration department as a summary area with no individuals, simply a solitary cat.

Okay then.
